| The Division of
Terahertz Spectroscopy, the Spectroscopical Society of Japan, has
organized the symposium on “Frontier of Terahertz Spectroscopy”
every year from 2006, aiming for providing a platform for free
discussion and information exchanges for terahertz spectroscopy and
related science & technologies. This year, we organize the symposium
focusing on the topics of “Next generation technology in THz
frequency region and its application to THz sensitive spectroscopy
and sensing,” on 22 and 23 October, 2009, in University of Fukui,
collaborating with the Research Center for Development of
Far-Infrared Region, University of Fukui. The symposium consists
invited talks, poster sessions with contributed papers, a panel
exhibition of products associated with THz spectroscopy by companies.
“The Best Student Poster” and “Encouraging Prize” for young
researchers will be awarded at the end of the symposium. We are
expecting many people who are interesting in THz spectroscopy will
attend the symposium and enjoy discussions. |
